For the second year in a row, members of the Jazz Ensemble have been selected to perform at the University of North Texas Jazz Festival April 2 - 4, 2008 in Addison, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The Jazz Bones Ensemble will make the trip in 2008; last year, the entire Jazz Ensemble performed at this prestigious event.

The Jazz Bones consists of 5 trombones and a rhythm section, and they are one of only 8 high school jazz combos invited to perform at the 2008 Texas festival.
