The Jazz Ensemble performed at the 2007 Suncoast Dixieland Jazz Classic on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach. This year marked the 17th year for the event where over 20 jazz bands from around the country participate by invitation in this popular classic.

The Suncoast Dixieland Jazz Society sponsors the Jazz Classic each year. In 2006, the Society awarded a grant to our Jazz Ensemble that allowed the ensemble to travel to the University of North Texas Jazz Festival. The Jazz Ensemble is very appreciative of the relationship built with the Dixieland society.
