Sponsored annually by the U.S. Army,
the All-American Bowl game features high school seniors representing
tomorrow's college and NFL stars in a classic East vs. West
football match-up at San Antonio's Alamodome. Through the All-American
Bowl, the U.S. Army is helping to shape these future leaders
by providing a national forum for these student-athletes to
showcase their extraordinary talents. This year, for the first
time ever, 91 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band musicians
will perform during half time. The honor recognizes the nation's
leading high school musicians who share the U.S. Army core values
of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honesty, integrity
and personal courage. The national selection of band members
is based on a broad range of attributes: musical accomplishment,
academic achievement, leadership abilities, and community service.
The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band is a top-tier validation
of their accomplishments.
