Welcome to the Tarpon Springs High School Leadership Conservatory for the Arts – We are proud to be a countywide magnet program within the Pinellas County School System. The Leadership Conservatory is a world-class learning center of excellence, integrating leadership skills, the performing arts, rigorous academics, and technology.  We offer  a comprehensive and seamless curriculum that prepares today’s students for the shift to tomorrow’s challenges. Our program is open to instrumental, vocal, orchestra, dance, and color guard students who have a desire to develop their ability to be a leader and become the best student performers they can possibly be.

A child’s secondary education provides the foundation for the rest of his or her life. I want encourage you to take a look at this unique educational opportunity and what the Leadership Conservatory for the Arts has to offer your student. We have designed the Leadership and Performing Arts curriculum to include something for everyone whether they play an instrument or not.

There are course offerings for the student who:
  • Desires to develop leadership skills and participate in courses that specifically focus on the development of the individual.
  • Desires to perform as an elite member of one of our “nationally accomplished” performance ensembles.
  • Desires to learn to play a musical instrument.
  • Desires to learn to compose music and work with the latest software and technology.
  • Desires to dance and would like to improve their skills as part of a World Class performance ensemble.

Becoming a member of the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts can benefit you as an individual in so many ways. For those of you who are just entering high school, our organization can become an instant family and help make a somewhat scary transition much easier. The skills you learn in our leadership and performing arts programs are the same skills that will make you a successful individual no matter what career path you choose. The members of Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts are totally committed to self-discipline, individual responsibility, and excellence.

I am excited about all the wonderful opportunities the Tarpon Springs High School Leadership Conservatory for the Arts has to offer our students. Over the past few years, our ensembles have had the privilege to perform on a national level in ten different states before and in front of literally millions of people.  Furthermore, we are very proud that Conservatory graduates have made up the majority of the top ten percent of every graduating senior class for the past 20 years.  The overwhelming majority of our students graduate with some type of  music or academic scholarship. Conservatory graduates have gone on to attend and Yale University, Tufts University, Wharton School of Business, Annapolis Naval Academy, DePaul University, Embry Riddle University, The Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, New England Conservatory, and every major university in the State of Florida.
